Postdoctoral Fellows

Research Interests

I am working in the structural, elastic, electronic, optical, magnetic, and thermoelectric properties of bulk and two dimensional systems using density functional theory. I use mainly WIEN2k, Quantum-ESPRESSO, and VASP codes in my research work. In particular, I am interested in:

  • Thermoelctric properties in bulk, two dimensional oxides, and layered materials as well as search for new materials having high ZT.
  • Organic molecules on metallic surfaces and Interface of oxides pervoskites.
  • Alloys study with doped magnetic material for new spintronic devices.
  • Band gap engineering for optoelectronic devices.
