Research Interests

Design of open-framework compounds from cluster building units. Self-assembly under hydrothermal conditions. Zeolites, aluminophosphates, metal-organic frameworks, open-framework germanates.
Electronic structure methods. Study of the relationship structure–physical properties of materials. Electronic properties of porous materials. Ionic conductivity in solid electrolytes.
Topological chemistry. Topological analysis of underlying nets in porous compounds. Recognition of secondary building units in crystal compounds.
