Research Interests

My research interests are in modeling and simulating the structure, and electronic and optoelectronic properties of 2D materials, aiming to understand and predict the fundamental properties and the potential in applications, including but not limited to

  1. 2D systems with novel ferroic orders from the first principles

  2. Type-II magnetoelectric & multiferroic coupling in 2D systems

  3. Interface interactions in van der Waals structures

  4. New physical effects in novel 2D systems
