Computational Physics & Materials Science Lab

In the CPMS Lab we concentrate on the electronic and structural properties of nanostructured systems, in particular those including surfaces and interfaces.

Overview

Welcome to the Computational Physics and Materials Science Lab.

The CPMS-Lab is led by Professor Udo Schwingenschlögl of the Applied Physics Program in the Physical Science and Engineering Division at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST).

In the CPMS-Lab, our research is aimed at first-principles simulations of materials with exotic physical and chemical properties.

MSc and PhD student positions in Computational Physics and Materials Science are available. Please contact Prof. Udo Schwingenschlögl for more information.
